Directed Representative Graph Modeling of MEP Systems Using BIM Data

نویسندگان

چکیده

Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems are crucial to a building, which directly affect the building safety, energy saving, operational efficiency. Building information models (BIMs) help engineers view connection structure of MEP elements, reducing time for reading drawings training costs. However, existing bring tremendous challenge monitoring due issues with complicated spatial structure, large scale, intuitiveness. In addition, there is still lack feasible methods model representative graph in systems. To address this problem, study proposes an approach directed using BIM data. The proposed contains two parts, edge extraction direction identification. Firstly, elements converted into triangular meshes on boundary points extracted. Secondly, sets developed extract points. Thirdly, connected generate edges. Meanwhile, topological relationships among flow directions ports, all extracted obtain based Industry Foundation Classes (IFC). Subsequently, edges combined graph. Finally, experiments evaluated six models. experimental results show that graphs successfully. Furthermore, simulated system integrate Internet Things (IoT) realize intelligent lays solid foundation development management smart buildings.

Directed prime graph of non-commutative ring

Prime graph of a ring R is a graph whose vertex set is the whole set R any any two elements $x$ and $y$ of $R$ are adjacent in the graph if and only if $xRy = 0$ or $yRx = 0$.  Prime graph of a ring is denoted by $PG(R)$. Directed prime graphs for non-commutative rings and connectivity in the graph are studied in the present paper. The diameter and girth of this graph are also studied in the pa...

Random Graph Directed Markov Systems

We introduce and explore random conformal graph directed Markov systems governed by measure-preserving ergodic dynamical systems. We first develop the symbolic thermodynamic formalism for random finitely primitive subshifts of finite type with a countable alphabet (by establishing tightness in a narrow topology). We then construct fibrewise conformal and invariant measures along with fibrewise ...

Modeling DNA Nanodevices Using Graph Rewrite Systems

DNA based nanostructures and devices are becoming ubiquitous in nanotechnology with rapid advancements in theory and experiments in DNA self-assembly which have led to a myriad of DNA nanodevices. However, the modeling methods used by researchers in the field for design and analysis of DNA nanostructures and nanodevices have not progressed at the same rate. Specifically, there does not exist a ...

The value of integrating Scan-to-BIM and Scan-vs-BIM techniques for construction monitoring using laser scanning and BIM: The case of cylindrical MEP components

10 There is a growing need for tools automating the processing of as-built 3D laser scanned data, and more 11 particularly the comparison of this as-built data with planned works. This paper particularly considers 12 the case of tracking MEP components with circular cross-sections, which essentially include pipes, and 13 some conduits and ducts. Discrepancies between the as-built and as-planned...
